Carlos Dinares wants you to see the 2 videos and see how they look rowed by him.
They both feel really different. I like much better the RP3 because it just feels a lot closer to the feel on the water. C2 has just adapted their stationary erg to a dynamic version keeping many parts the same. When rowing the dynamic C2 you don’t feel as much acceleration and the finish of the stroke is empty making the change of direction very hard. You just feel like you cannot hold to anything at the end of the stroke. On the water and on the RP3 you can really hold to it and change direction timing it right. Also the C2 has a very weird feeling by rowing with a cable and not a chain like on the RP3.
I hope you get the chance to row them both in the next coming big races.
